We Made Contact!

We have contacted a family in Mestre, Italy who agreed to host us for a couple of days. As it happens, this couple loves cycling, and offers other services catered to cyclists. As members of SERVAS, we are able to contact people who are also members, and who are interested in hosting other travelers. The beauty of SERVAS is that one can find people of likewise interests, age, profession, hobbies, language preference, etc. In 2005-6 while traveling in Australia we had contacted SERVAS hosts who loved nature, performing arts, and hiking. As a result we were taken, and shown places we had interest in. As we spend a few days in Mestre, we will be visiting Venice on foot, boat, and buses. Stay tuned for more.
